More BALL x PIT Is Imminent

Three updates are coming in 2026 to the excellent Breakout roguelite.

Devolver Digital has announced that with over 1,000,000 copies sold, they’re forcing developer Kenny Sun to make more BALL x PIT. The Regal Update is coming in January, Shadow Update in April, and Naturalist Update in July.

BALL x PIT is a brick-breaking survival roguelite where you must delve into the pit of destroyed Ballbylon to find treasure to rebuild the city. As you run through Breakout style levels, you gain resources to build and expand the town with structures to upgrade your abilities.

Updates will include new balls, evolutions, buildings, characters, and more. I’m excited to see if these will improve the endgame, perhaps the only weak part of this fantastic game.

BALL x PIT is available now on Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch + Switch 2, and Xbox Series X|S.
