Neolithic Dawn [Review]

My experience with "Neolithic Dawn" was cut short due to a significant lack of clear direction. While a primary objective exists, the path to its completion and my current position within the game world were constantly ambiguous. The environment was not only confusing but also relentlessly punishing, leading to frequent and unexplained deaths. Beyond the core gameplay frustrations, the experience was marred by significant technical instability, including character clipping and falling through the world. Despite these issues, the game possesses considerable promise, drawing comparisons to "Green Hell VR." The co-op experience, in particular, is genuinely enjoyable. The fundamental mechanics are solid: exploration is immersive ( because you’re lost), and the survival elements carry substantial weight. A major concern, however, is the game's technical stability, which includes frequent crashes or freezes on my Meta Quest 3. Ultimately, "Neolithic Dawn" feels incomplete and requires further development before it can be fully recommended.

I will re-review the game after a few updates have been made.
