Something Classic announces Quartet version 1.3, dropping Tuesday, February 3rd! Version 1.3 introduces a new 90-minute dungeon adventure, Gluhender's Grotto. A magical letter arrives on our heroes' airship. It contains intelligence about a cavernous stronghold where Chancellor Uralt's most fanatical followers can hold out after the war is over. Thus begins a plunge into an ancient underground warren of magic and eerie, waking dreams. Can the party recover their wits and unravel the mystery of what's going on, beneath the earth?

Gluhender's Grotto is for heroes level 40 and above. This update includes some challenging, inventive boss fights, but its real focus is on the characters and their relationships. Other updates include:

Optional CRT Filter - A new setting to enable a CRT filter has been added to the game. Comes with several adjustable knobs to tweak to your satisfaction.

Luck Improvements - In addition to critical hits, luck now improves debuff proc rate, skill hit counts (Zap Zap, Javelin Rain), and the chances of Magic Deck picking the target's weakness.

Selected patch notes (full notes available on Steam):

  • A certain location in Seren will now become accessible (again) after completing Gluhender's Grotto.

  • Various performance and memory improvements, particularly when using the airship.

  • Fixes for miscellaneous typos and map collisions.

  • Fixed an issue with certain visual effects on Steam Deck / Linux.
