Community Praised Doloc Town, Launches Third Major Update, "Harvest Fusion", Adds Gene System, New Festival, Player-Inspired Cosmetics and More Ways to Make Your Farm Feel Like Home
Doloc Town has been a delight since day 1 in Early Access. It’s a post-apocalyptic farming sim that presents an unique take on the genre. I haven’t played since the initial release but now looks like a great time to jump back in. - Janette/PossumCoffee
Chongqing, China – January 6th, 2026 — RedSaw Games and Logoi Games are excited to announce the cozy post-apocalyptic farming sim Doloc Town's next Early Access Major Update, Harvest Fusion, is Out Now! To celebrate, Doloc Town is available now with a limited-time 10% promotion, a great moment for new players to jump in, get comfortable, and start building their dream homestead.
Since debuting in Steam Early Access on May 8th, 2025, Doloc Town has continued to blossom through major content updates and ongoing refinements as the team moves closer toward full launch later this year. Doloc Town has earned 95% overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam (with close to 1.6K reviews), highlighting strong community reception as the game continues to expand. The Doloc Town team is currently working on adding additional languages with support from the community. The goal is to have the localisations ready for the full release, but these plans may change depending on progress.
Following the Pastoral Waves and Thrive & Ties updates, Harvest Fusion delivers a major leap in farming depth, story content, and self-expression. The centerpiece is the new Gene System, featuring nearly 20 seed mutations, a Gene focused tech tree, and new equipment. Each seed can carry up to 3 gene modules, giving farming focused players the creativity to experiment and mix and match their crops. The update adds new hats, with the majority inspired by player creations from a community design event, plus new furniture and a festival-themed decoration set to make your farm feel even more like home. The brand-new Long Night Festival invites players to ring in the new year with exclusive town activities, heartfelt story moments, new enemies to take on, new items to earn, and a unique décor set. With more ways to personalize your look and your farm, Doloc Town is set to get cozier (and more stylish) than ever.
"The Harvest Fusion update is a huge step forward for Doloc Town's farming depth and overall polish," said the Producer of Doloc Town. "The Gene System is a core mechanic that will grow with players across the entire journey, and we can't wait to hear what combinations the community discovers."
