Elements Divided [Review]
Elements Divided is a fantastic arena-based fighter for the Meta Quest, offering players the chance to experience elemental combat, "Similar to The Last Airbender." This game allows up to eight players to battle it out in an arena, either against each other in PvP, cooperatively against bots or other players in PvE. It's a quick and easy game to learn, but difficult to master, and runs smoothly. The game boasts a huge array of unique and fun-to-use abilities for each element, making the combat system a joy. The hub world is a great place to practice and hone skills before jumping into battle. At just $10, Elements Divided offers low risk and high reward, making it a highly recommended multiplayer VR game.
However, the game does have some areas for improvement. The leveling system progresses too quickly; it's possible to max out two styles and unlock all new abilities for each element within an hour or two. This leaves little to grind for beyond cosmetics, as there isn't much else to do in the game. The rapid leveling also makes it difficult to memorize new abilities, as new ones unlock almost as soon as you start learning the previous one. While the core idea is very cool and the execution is well done. I am looking forward to future content drops and updates.
