World War Z VR [First Impressions]

Having previously reviewed Saber Interactive's World War Z, a game highly reminiscent of Left 4 Dead yet offering even more, I found it to be a modern and updated homage to an already great game. Now, World War Z returns in VR, bringing unique weapon reloading mechanics for enhanced realism and the ability to dual-wield, significantly increasing "Zeke" destruction. The addition of destructible environments allows for more creative kills and better zombie management.

Gameplay intensity is heightened by objectives like finding keys to open doors or cranking gates while fending off hordes. Killing "Zekes" and completing levels (based on difficulty) grant rank-ups and perk levels, leading to more destruction and easier survival. However, a significant disappointment is the current single-player experience. Unlike its predecessor, this World War Z VR title currently lacks any co-op multiplayer, a feature I sincerely hope will be added in the future. So far with the preview i was so kindly provided I will say this is a fantastic zombie shooter and will be highly reccomended once its achieved its full release.
