It really is the latter have of the year, crazy to think about. We have had 34 New Comic Book Day’s so far this year, so let’s make it 35 Today!
Mad Cave Studios starting us off with Speed, Speed Racer #2 that is! Speed Racer #1 was a really fun read for anyone who likes cars, racing and just a fun time. Now that the die has been cast, this issue is going to be taking our hero and putting a target on his back, let’s see if he can cross the finish line this issue. This comic is $4.99!
From Dark Horse Comics, we got a new sci-fi horror! Masterminds #1 is out this week. Sometimes, somethings are too good to be true, like when you get to audition for a secret society of gaming giants who promise to help you achieve your wildest dreams and once you are in you find out the auditions is going to be deadly! This comic is $4.99!
From Marvel this week, we have but a man, a mortal man named Thor. That’s right, it’s The Mortal Thor #1! It seems like a man is waking up and he has a hammer, just like those fairy tales about Norse Myths from long ago but those are just stories. This man is real. This comic is $4.99!
From Image Comics this week, we have a man, but he is invicib…. wait no, he is The Invisible Man #1! See what I did there? I chuckled at least, anyways that’s right Universal Monsters is back this time with The Invisible Man written by the wonderful James Tynion IV. This comic is $4.99!
Last but certainly not least, from DC this week. It is the start of a new tale set off into the far future. Immortal Legend Batman #1! This is Batman like never before, basically he is a space power ranger, and I just think that is neat! Plus, it is written by Kyle Higgins from the Massive verse so I do have high hopes for this! This comic is $4.99!
