Though it is just another Wednesday for most, it is the best day of the week for some of us, because it is New Comic Book Day!
So let’s get this started with Image Comics this week, Exquisite Corpses #2! The first issue was an amazing introduction to the world and it’s very unique casts of characters! The body count is on the rise this issue but maybe the competitor count will drop! A bloody and fun twist to a battle royale story. It is worth the pick up! This comic is 32 pages for $4.99!
From Mad Cave Studios this week it’s Vanishing Point #2! This series is an anthology series that are part horror part science fiction, this issue deals with “the tomorrow family” a darker take on the Jetsons if you remember that cartoon! The first issue was great, hoping this issue delivers as well! This comic is 32 pages for $4.99!
Next from Dark Horse Comics, it’s the conclusion of Vatican City #3! I wish this series was longer, the world we are dropped into is fantastic and horrifying. Still it is worth the read! Only 3 issues! This comic is 32 pages for $5.99!
From Marvel comics this week it’s also the finale to Aliens vs. Avengers #4! This comic has taken a while to finish, I believe it’s been 10 months for us to get to this point. That being said, every issue has been hype! Let’s hope the finale is worth the wait! This comic is 48 pages for $7.99!
Last but not least, from DC this week it’s Absolute Flash #4! Our first three issues were both very fast and slow with its story but now we are out of the desert, and it seems Wally has found a place to crash in Central City. Will he finally catch a break, or will he have to be on the run again? This comic is 28 pages for $4.99!
