The Visco Collection [Review]

QUByte Interactive's Visco Collection provides seven arcade games from the Visco Corporation, with games dating back from the 90s to 2001. This Mini Review will not be based on the games themselves. These are games that have been re-released and emulated. The performance of the games is pretty much perfect. No input lag, and no graphical glitches. Along with an addition of online multiplayer. Also, the games do have screen mode changes like Filters for CRT scan lines, 4:3 Aspect Ratio, and 16:9. At first the menu for the game looks very confusing. Showing what games are 1-2 players and what is and isn't playable online.

The playable games are:

Andro Dunos

Bang Bead

Make it stand out

Captain Tomaday

FlipShot

Make it stand out

Ganryu

Make it stand out

Goal!

Make it stand out

Neo DriftOut

Make it stand out

It took me a second to realize that scrolling up and down on the menu is all you can do. Something I found to be odd is that this game only has seven games available so, I'm not sure why you can favorite games or filter games. Although it is worth noting, the presentation of this game is pretty good, and its use of arcade machines and its backgrounds are nice. I am absolutely not a fan of the User Agreement. This game forces you to agree to have access to the game. This game monitors your play and your game system while it is active. I don't like having anyone monitoring me or my hardware.

I don't care if they don't want you modding their game or not. Furthermore, since I'm on a Nintendo Switch, there's nothing I can do to add mods. It feels like a sad excuse to collect data and sell people's information. Lastly, there are many better games to mod and not much to offer with this collection so I'm not sure why this user agreement is even necessary. That being said, PC gamers need to read the agreement and make sure their Steam account or PC is not compromised in any way. Being tracked or monitored on a game system is one thing but your PC is far more personal than a home console. The VISCO Collection is available on Nintendo Switch.

PlayStation 4/5, Steam, and the Xbox Family of consoles.

Dull collection of games

Ganryu being the best.

The User Agreement killed this for me.
