Halls of Torment Bardcore Update and Boglands DLC
One of the best games to spawn from the Vampire Survivors copycat frenzy is Chasing Carrots’ Halls of Torment. It combines excellent survivors gameplay with the feel and aesthetic of Diablo II, and is just as hard to put down as the games that inspired it. Not only is it now available on PS5 and Xbox, but it also has the massive Bardcore update as well as its first paid DLC.

Like Vampire Survivors, Halls of Torment is a horde survival game with short, addictive runs. There’s an enormous range of content—characters, abilities, enemies, bosses, quests, and more. It’s all presented in an old-school pre-rendered art style straight out of Diablo.
The Bardcore update introduces the long-awaited Bard character, along with new abilities, artifacts, and metal music tracks. The Boglands DLC adds a new swamp stage, two new heroes, dozens of quests, new abilities and gear… just tons of stuff to expand an already huge game.

I highly recommend Halls of Torment, which is now even bigger thanks to the new update and DLC. It’s succeeded in sucking me in all over again. It’s also on GamePass, so if you’re a subscriber you owe it to yourself to download it right now.
Halls of Torment and the Boglands DLC are available on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
