Dunk Dunk [Review]
Dunk Dunk is a basketball party game for up to four players, or one player versus the CPU in story mode, where the goal is to outscore opponents. It offers a surprising level of character customization, allowing players to choose from various characters and personalize them by mixing and matching heads, limbs, and bodies, as well as changing colors even some characters make surprise visits like Yooka Laylee. The gameplay is straightforward. The primary controls are jumping and dashing (same button) and a block button. However, retaining possession of the ball is key, as it's easily stolen once airborne. The most effective scoring method is a slam dunk into the "basket," which resembles a black hole. An amusing in-game moment involved the CPU inadvertently scoring in its own basket after intercepting a last-second shot. Dunk Dunk in a nutshell is Speed Runners but as Basket Ball. Dunk Dunk is an excellent couch co-op game, and playing with a full party of four is chaotic and an incredibly fun experience.
