The Pull! [1.28.26]
It has been a quick second since I have done a pull list! We are back though so let’s get into it!
Starting with DC this week, there is so many titles coming out! From DCKO tie ins to the Absolute Universe but I think two issues come out on top this week. Absolute Batman #16 which continues the duet of Batman and Wonder Woman meeting for the first time in the Absolute Universe and Absolute Wonder Woman #16 which is the start of the Absolute Zatanna arc! Both of these issues bring with them some great world building in the Absolute universe and are both easy reads. Absolute Batman #16 is a stand alone for the most part of its story so it can be read by itself. While Absolute Wonder Woman #16 is the start of a new story arc making it an easier jumping on point. You really can’t go wrong with either or. They both are $4.99!

From Marvel this week, we got a new Iron Man #1, some on goings like Infernal Hulk #3 which a great read if you get the chance! This week though I am picking up The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1! If you aren’t caught up with The Amazing Spider-Man there are some very interesting story beats happening but this can be a fun read that shouldn’t fall to inline with the actual over arching plot in the series so it can a good one shot read! This comic is $4.99!

Whenever I go to my LCS, I always try to find something my partner would like to read. He isn’t super into superhero comics but he does like indies and this week I think I found one he might like.
From IDW Publishing it’s Monster High: Boomuda Triangle #1. Though I don’t know much about Monster High and it’s lore my partner has always enjoyed the series through it multi media presence and has read the comics in the past. This is the start of a 5 issue mini series featuring some fan favorite characters. Though it may not be for me, I am sure it will be enjoyed by the people who pick it up! This comic is $4.99!

From Titan Comics this week it is Escape from Skull Island #1. Sometimes when a animated series is canceled you never get to find out the ending or what the writers had in store to tell in future seasons. Sometimes you get lucky and the series is continued in a comic series a couple of years later just like this one. This is the continuation of Skull Island the animated series from 2023 that got 1 season on Netflix. Hope that fans of the series get the closure they deserve. This comic is $4.99!

Last but definitely a worthy pick up this week from Image Comics it is Bug Wars: The Spyder Wytch Special #1! That’s right Bug Wars is back with a one shot that dives deeper into some lore and fleshes out some key story beats that will be useful for when a new Bug Wars series comes out later in 2026! You need to get this comic if you are a fan! This comic is $5.99!
