NIS America’s storybook platformer The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince is now available on Steam, bringing this fairytale adventure about love and loss to PC years after its original release. The game first launched on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in 2019, and arrives on Steam today.
Developed by Nippon Ichi Software, The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince tells a bittersweet tale about a wolf and a prince brought together through a tragic mistake. After accidentally blinding the prince, the wolf disguises herself as a princess and sets out to guide him through a dangerous forest in search of a witch who can restore his sight. The game feels like a classic fairy tale and is presented in a beautiful storybook style with hand-drawn art.

Players switch between the wolf and princess forms to solve puzzles and help the prince survive the forest’s hazards. As a wolf, you can fend off enemies and clear obstacles, while as a princess, you must carefully lead the vulnerable prince through traps and hostile creatures. Along the way, collectible memory fragments gradually reveal more about the pair’s relationship and the story behind their journey.
Blending puzzle-platforming with a dark fairytale atmosphere, The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince is a distinctive narrative adventure worth experiencing, now available to a new audience on PC.
The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince is available now on Steam. You can also find it on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.
