'Tame, Breed, Conquer' - Ubisoft Veterans Team Up for New Creature Collecting RPG 'Eldrem Kingdoms' [Press Release]

Befriend magical creatures, wield their powers and conquer the skies! Coming to PC Early Access in 2027.

Friday, 25th September - Bucharest, Romania: Independent video game developer, Eldrem Studios, is delighted to officially unveil their ambitious new companion-focused premium role-playing game, Eldrem Kingdoms, coming to PC via Steam Early Access in 2027.

This ambitious project is being developed by industry veterans from Ubisoft, who previously worked on entries in the Assassin's Creed and Ghost Recon series. Eldrem Kingdoms combines fast-paced combat with free-flying open-world exploration, creature collecting, breeding, crafting, and fortress building in one approachable and colourful story-driven adventure. 

In Eldrem Kingdoms, players will raise creatures from vulnerable hatchlings into legendary companions they can ride, train, customize, and fight alongside. These companions are not only key for world traversal, but they also lend players their magic abilities directly.

"Everyone on the team is massively excited to share Eldrem Kingdoms with the world," said George Cercheaza, co-founder of Eldrem Studios. "We've all developed games for many years as part of big AAA studios, and it's great to be able to start something new on our own, make brave decisions, and work directly with the community on how we evolve the game."

Eldrem Kingdoms' has already been in development for over 1 year and the team is currently looking to fund more new features via a community-funding campaign on Kickstarter. Eldrem Kingdoms was fully funded within 5 hours of its debut, and the team is regularly releasing new feature details and adding further funding goals in response to fan feedback.
