SeaFrog Nintendo Switch 2 [Review]

SeaFrog is a fantastic fast-paced 2D skateboarding puzzle platformer where you control an adorable frog. Utilizing a comically Large wrench by comparison to the little frogs size, you'll tackle issues such as opening and closing valves and various other puzzles while continuing your momentum and skating. This game reminds me of OlliOlli World but more contained and focused. Feels like more of an adventure.

The game features three expansive and meticulously detailed stages, each culminating in a uniquely designed boss battle. A boost meter powers your wrench, allowing you to boost and gain momentum to execute tricks and solve puzzles. To fill your boost meter, players must become airborne and do tricks or grind. SeaFrogs’ frame rate is steady, thus giving buttery smooth controls that are responsive and fluid.

The soundtrack will keep you pumped and is the exact soundtrack that is expected from a skating game. The graphics are bright and colorful, and really give me Sonic Rush and Mega Man Legends vibes. This game really shines on the Nintendo Switch. Fingers crossed for a physical launch because SeaFrog is an absolute day one purchase.
