Defeated monsters become allies in Necromancer, a solo developer's rebuilt mobile action RPG [Press Release]

A South Korean creator's paid Android/iOS action RPG combines monster resurrection, corpse explosions and direct control, with English among 15 supported languages

18 October 2026 — Every defeated monster offers a choice in Necromancer: Undead Legion RPG: raise it to fight for you, or use its corpse to trigger an explosion. The paid Android and iOS action RPG is being developed by Ingyoon An through his one-person Ancoach Studio in South Korea. An is a dentist and game developer who began teaching himself programming through Google searches in 2022.

The player remains active alongside the summoned legion, directly controlling the necromancer's movement, attacks and teleportation. The game features 36 undead types and supports 15 languages, including English. An traces his interest in summoning combat to playing a necromancer in Diablo II, and wants to share that enjoyment through his own original mobile game.

The new project is a full rebuild of An's earlier Necromancer RPG, which appeared in Google Play Korea's weekly recommended new games selection. The rebuilt game introduces extensively refreshed visuals and develops the interaction between resurrection, corpse explosions and direct character control.

According to An, some fans who remembered the earlier title years after its release returned to participate in development testing of this new game. Some individual testers supplied more than 1,000 feedback items each during those tests. An has spent more than two years developing and refining the project, with these conversations helping him address limitations of the earlier game and strengthen the experience of commanding an undead army.

Google Play pre-registration and App Store pre-orders are open, with 600 Gems offered on each platform. Regional store pages provide current availability. No confirmed release date is announced in this material.
