Panic Delivery [Review]

Panic Delivery stands out as one of the best Co-Op horror games I’ve played this year. The game’s premise revolves around delivering packages to various, often hostile, locations infested with monsters lurking in dark, treacherous corridors. To survive, players must stick together, ensuring that someone always has a crowbar, and others retreat to a safe distance to watch as a monster gets beaten senselessly. Completing deliveries rewards players with a dangerous, fragile briefcase that must be returned to the extraction vehicle. Being hurt or attacked can trigger this briefcase to explode resorting in death and the mission’s ending. Additionally, players earn currency that can be used to purchase essential items for future missions and some stylish clothing, some even inspired by popular anime like Dragon Ball and Bleach.

Panic Delivery truly delivers on its terrifying promise. The constant alarming sounds and occasional pursuit by enemies create a high-stakes environment. One particularly terrifying encounter involved a creature that disguised itself as one of my teammates and then mutated into a Resident Evil 5 style monster, with a grotesque tentacle emerging from its head. It then brutally beat my friend to death. My group genuinely screamed in terror on multiple occasions, which I admit is a bit embarrassing, but it speaks to the game’s effectiveness. I wholeheartedly recommend Panic Delivery as a must-play Co-Op horror experience.

Final Verdict:
