I’ve previously lamented the death of couch co-op, and often times I find myself longing for the days when Streets of Rage and Golden Axe defined afternoons of hanging out with friends playing video games. After all, constructing a quality brawler can be a difficult task.
That’s why I was so intrigued when I stumbled across an interesting Kickstarter project titled No Mercy: For Lorne Hope. With a striking art style and easy to pick up gameplay, No Mercy is well on its way to achieving its goal of raising $30,000 to finish development.
I was interested in learning more, and so I reached out to Multivarious on their Discord server and set up an interview with Producer Cody Starcher and artist Katie. They were gracious enough to spend some time chatting about the project. Take a listen!
Make sure to visit the Kickstarter link I included above and back the project if you’re interested! Thanks again to Cody and Katie for taking the time to chat!
